John Puleo, Lead Pastor
Lead Pastor John Puleo began ministry at Christian Life Assembly in 1994. Prior to that, he served churches in New York State and New Jersey. He encountered Christ in 1970 at the New York Mission while undergoing treatment for substance addiction, and now carries a desire to help people find healing at all levels and spiritual formation through faith in Jesus Christ.
Pastor John is a graduate of Zion Bible Institute, Valley Forge Christian College, and the Institute of Pastoral Counseling. He is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God and a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Pastor John is a preacher of God’s Word, the Bible, and offers a careful balance in explaining the meaning of the scriptures and it’s relevancy to our everyday experiences, including our struggles. He captures the heart of his audience with his unpretentious and sometimes humorous manner, but stretches our faith and challenges our convictions with the clear and simple truths that are revealed in the Word of God.
Pastor John and his wife Ruth have three children (David, Jennie & Julie) and six grandchildren (Ethan, Noah, Abigail, Liam, Natalia and Elizabeth).
