Rev. Ruth Puleo
Biography:
Ruth has a heart for souls and especially for the needs of women. She has a testimony of God’s ‘keeping power’ throughout her life. Raised in a pastor’s home provided a great foundation, but did not protect her from the challenges of life. It has been God’s grace and faithfulness in her life from which she draws great strength and compassion for others.
Ruth followed God’s call on her life by attending Zion Bible Institute and Northwest College. She is an ordained minister and serves as an associate pastor on staff at Christian Life Assembly in Stroudsburg, PA with her husband, John the Lead Pastor. Her ministry focus includes counseling women, overseeing ministries for the women of Christian Life Assembly, pastoral care and visitor assimilation. Some of the ministries for women that she administrates are Women of Purpose and Journey to Joy small groups.
She is the Women of Purpose Director for the Penn-Del District of the Assemblies of God. God has opened up the door for her to minister in other churches, retreats and conventions. Ruth travels oversees ministering in bible schools and churches, to nationals and to national pastor’s wives. She directs Missions trips for women giving them an opportunity to be used by God on foreign soil. She has established a catalyst group for women in ministry covering the eastern part of Pennsylvania. It is Ruth’s desire to equip women and girls for ministry and God’s service.
John and Ruth have been blessed with 32 years of married life together. They have three grown children (David, Jennie & Julie), who are all married and living a distance away. They feel that the “icing on the cake of life” is their six grandchildren (Ethan, Noah, Natalia, Abigail, Elizabeth and Liam).
